Our Mission

Body Evolution Crossfit is a gym where coaches and members sign up for life. We strive to present challenging classes for all age groups that are provided by individuals who are dedicated and love their job.

Amber Harlan

Manager

As a mother of two amazing kids Amber can relate to the fitness struggle of most women.  After her kids were old enough to go to school she found herself with some free time during the day and aimed to get back to her pre-baby body.  Like other moms, she tried just about every fad or trend you could try.  When she started working with Patrick he started by taking her back to the basics.  He improved Amber’s form on the functional movements and in turn made her a better runner.

As Amber got better at the movements and even ran her first full marathon, her desire to get better at everything physical grew.  It wasn’t until she was hooked that she realized Patrick was having her do traditional CrossFit workouts.

I’ve had injuries in the past and have no desire to get ‘bulky’ so I was surprised to learn that what I had been doing was CrossFit.  I’ve gained mobility, endurance, and strength doing CrossFit and I look better now than I did when I was 20.  And I don’t think anyone would claim I was ‘bulky.’  After a few years of CrossFit I decided I wanted more involvement.  I got my Level 1 and teamed up with Patrick to get to work on what I hope will be the best CrossFit in Indiana.

Patrick Corcoran

Head Coach

Feeling healthy and fit makes Patrick feel capable of anything.  He wants to help others feel the same by sharing the knowledge and experience that he’s gained from over ten years in the fitness industry.  Patrick wants to keep you pain-free and hopefully inspire you to seek a healthy lifestyle so you too will be self-confident and view yourself as capable of anything!

I love to learn and plan to continue to do so for years to come.  The learning also happens in my personal life as I research and try new events and ideas.  I’m always trying my hand at new events like marathons, ultra-running, and triathlons or reading and researching new fitness trends.  Ask me about the latest event I’m signed up for or the current book I’m reading.

Ray Mark

Barbell Club Head Coach

Staying fit and active came naturally to Raymond thanks to his involvement in recreational and competitive sports.  However after graduating from Purdue University in 2007, Raymond struggled to find a fitness avenue which provided him with aesthetic and strength gains while feeding his competitive spirit.  It wasn’t until 2013, after six months of his wife pushing him to give it a try, that Raymond stepped into his first CrossFit box and became immediately hooked.  Raymond firmly believes that CrossFit is the most effective, functional and motivational method of fitness for both athletes of sport and those seeking life longevity.

Kim Mark

BE Kids Coach

Throughout her childhood Kim remained active by playing with neighborhood friends.  Hours were spent outside playing games like wiffleball, kickball, and capture the flag on a daily basis.  Upon graduating from college, Kim realized her mostly sedentary lifestyle was affecting her health.  After years of long distance running, Kim found CrossFit in 2013 and never looked back.  Kim is passionate about coaching BE Kids because she believes children today simply need to be more active and benefit greatly physically, socially and emotionally from functional fitness.

Amy Hahaj

BE Kids Coach

Sports was a big part of Amy’s life growing up. She played collegiate soccer at Ball State University where she also majored in Exercise Science.  Amy excelled on the field but knee and hip injuries ended her playing career early.  After college Amy devoted herself to teaching others the sport she loves.  Most weekends you can find her on the field coaching for Indy Premier where her son and daughter also play.

Amy joined Body Evolution as a founding member in 2017 not long after her 7th knee surgery.  She loved the workouts and the community immediately.  She never felt intimidated and Patrick’s knowledge has been wonderful during her knee rehabilitation journey.  Coaching BE Kids is another way for Amy to pass along her passion for health and fitness to kids that she already expresses through her work as a youth soccer coach.

Seamus

Mascot/Patrick’s Best Friend

Seamus is Patrick’s 11-year-old black lab.  He may be at the gym when you visit.  He loves to say hello and lick your face.  Feel free to say hi and pet him.  He has never bitten any person or any dog.  He does sometime enjoy jumping up to reach your face easier though.
