All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. The Level Method

is a system of fitness assessment designed to motivate every individual to reach their full potential.  It also takes the guess work out of scaling the daily WOD at your gym.  With scores from fifteen assessments ranging from Flexibility to Running to classic CrossFit WODs like Fran the Level Method gives each member an overall fitness level.  The levels are color coded much like belts in Jiu-Jitsu.  (white to black)  The daily WOD scaling options correlate to these levels.  So where normally the daily WOD has an Rx and a scaled version there is now a Blue, Orange, and Yellow version.  In this way The Level Method creates a Safe workout environment, Motivates you to better yourself, and creates a Guide for reaching your fitness goals.
